We Need your Input into Developing the Local Government Association Workforce Planning Guide
As part of a wider strategy around workforce the LGA Workforce Team, in partnership with East of England LGA, are creating an online workforce planning guide for local government.
For the development of this guide, we are seeking input from key stakeholders across the local government sector to help inform its design and content. To do this, we will be holding a regional workshop in Cambourne.
Not only will this workshop give you the opportunity to have your say in this workforce planning guide, but it will also give you the opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the region and share ideas around public sector workforce planning.
In this workshop, we will be covering topics such as:
- Key drivers, opportunities and threats in local government workforce planning
- Innovation and best practice in workforce planning
- The process behind effective workforce planning.
- The roles and responsibilities that sit behind workforce planning
- Useful tools and resources used in workforce planning
This workshop is open to local government employees across all tiers of local government who have either a role or expertise in: workforce planning, service planning, financial planning, human resources or organisational development and strategy
We look forward to seeing you there!
