Social Work Week 2024
Welcome to Social Work Week, taking place from 18 – 22 March 2024. The East of England LGA are one of hundreds of organisations and individuals getting involved with Social Work Week this year – an annual week of free events for anyone with lived or learned experience of social work.
We wanted to use the week as an opportunity to showcase some of the amazing early careers talent we have working in both Children’s and Adult Social Services across the East, as we help to influence change across the social work sector.
Get ready to dive into a series of uplifting case studies from across the region, as our social work professionals share their impactful journeys into a career in social work. Each day this week we will be highlighting the incredible work they do to make a difference in the lives of individuals and local communities.
We hope these case studies will inspire, educate and encourage conversations about careers in social work – join us in celebrating their dedication to the profession by reading each case study and sharing with your networks.
