Your privacy is important to us. By providing personal information such as your name and e-mail address via the forms on the website, you agree to us contacting you with regard to the information you have requested.

Your personal information will be used solely by us for the purpose it is collected.

Personal data is always destroyed after the purpose for which it was collected has been discharged.

Signing up for an event

If you sign up to attend an event we will use the information you register with to keep you updated with details about that event, and for billing purposes (where relevant).  For some events, we need to share your contact details with event partners, venues for security purposes, and/or the facilitator for pre course work or to register for certification but this will be noted on the course details if it applies. Please click here to view EELGA's Events Booking and Cancellation Policy.

Signing up to our email bulletin

We run an opt-in mailing list for our email bulletin which is kept on an entirely separate IT system.  You input your e-mail address and we use it to send you the email bulletin.

We do our best to keep your data accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your data changes (for example, if you have a new email address), then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes. Each email bulletin you receive from us will have the option to remove your e-mail address from our list.

We include links to other websites from our pages and we may also include links in our e-mails to other web sites which we think may be of interest to you, we would encourage you to read their privacy statements as they are not covered by this document.

When we send emails to you, we may track behaviour such as who opened the emails and who clicked the links.  This allows us to measure the performance of our email bulletins and improve the content of our features. To do this, we use web beacons in emails we send.  Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, including your email address. We use the data from those Web Beacons to create reports about how the email bulletin performed and what actions our subscribers took.

The IT system we use to hold your data and send out our email bulletins is called Salesforce, their privacy policy can be found here
