National Social Value Awards 2020 Open for Submissions

The National Social Value Taskforce is pleased to announce the Social Value Awards 2020 are now open for submissions.

The Social Value Awards celebrate innovation and leadership in social value, showcasing best practice from around the UK on how all sectors are embedding social value into the way they do business. 2020 will be the second time we have held the awards, after a fantastic range of submissions in 2018.

This year, there are four award categories designed to showcase leadership and collaboration in the delivery of social value, how social value can be embedded into procurement and contract management to drive real benefits for society, and how innovative solutions at a project level can create a lasting legacy for local communities. Award categories are:
  • Individual Leadership Award
  • Organisation Leadership Award
  • Project Awards
  • Award for Social Innovation

Submissions close on 20 November 2019 and the awards will be presented on day one of the National Social Value Conference, to be held in London on the 29-30th January 2020.

Entries should be submitted online, in the form of a two-page case study. Please visit https://www.nationalsocialvaluetaskforce.org/social-value-awards for more information and to submit. To learn more about the winners of the Social Value Awards 2018, the brochure can be downloaded here.

The National Social Value Taskforce was founded in 2016 to establish a good practice framework to integrate the Public Services (Social Value Act) 2012 into the UK public sector and business community. It is an open network and welcomes any organisation that wishes to get involved and help build our collective knowledge of how we can support our communities by working together through the effective implementation of the Act.
