Lack of capacity at all levels is the single biggest challenge facing our planning authorities today.  What can be done to address this issue and how are others tackling this head on?

The East of England LGA in joint partnership with Breckland Council would like to invite you to come and hear about examples from the East of England, and from across the country, of how councils are using innovation and new thinking to ensure the planning system is supporting growth across the region. It will also provide a great opportunity for networking.

OBJECTIVES FOR THE EVENT:

  • Share ideas on addressing the shortage of planners
  • Learn from others how they built capacity in planning services
  • Debate how new collaborative approaches to strategic planning can help deliver more with less

Further information and agenda to follow shortly.
