Course Leader

Stephanie Allen is a highly respected and sought-after Leadership Development Facilitator, Mentor and Coach.

She has an enviable reputation as a Leadership Development specialist working with managers at all levels to help them grow. Although much of her current work involves designing and delivering accredited programmes so that clients may gain internationally respected qualifications through her consultancy, The Training Spa, she also creates learning opportunities for clients who need specific skills without a qualification and works as an Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor to many senior leaders.

Steph supports a broad range of clients in both public and private sectors across the UK and Europe as well as delivering an annual HR Strategy Masterclass in Shanghai.  In addition, she has built up a very specific niche within UK Universities; currently working with staff in eleven HE Institutions and supporting them whilst they gain leadership or coaching qualifications. Steph has a passion for helping people develop and this is clearly seen in her highly interactive facilitation style.

Delivery process

Seven highly-interactive workshops are held to encourage sharing of existing skills; debate organisational context; learn coaching & mentoring skills and practice these in a safe environment.   On-demand, ongoing support is offered and delegates are encouraged to contact the facilitator by phone or email to seek guidance and discuss issues throughout the programme. All material and research content will be uploaded to a closed ‘Dropbox’ site.

The recommended text ‘techniques for coaching and mentoring’ by David Megginson and David Clutterbuck as well as "The Coaching Manual" by Julie Starr, will be provided to each participant.

Accreditation

The programme is accredited and therefore if completed successfully, will qualify participants in the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors

The accreditation process will involve successful completion of the following:
