Innovation in Housing

4th September 2017

On 18 September 2017 delegates from across the East of England will come together to explore the latest innovations and new approaches to housing construction and delivery.

The event will explore how we can overcome barriers to put fresh thinking into action and assess how we can be innovative in our approach to future housing supply.

We have confirmed Natalie Elphicke, Chief Executive of the Housing & Finance Institute who will talk through how councils can become ‘business ready’, as well as looking at how we create and nurture innovation in the sector, including the role of modular housing, custom build and garden towns.

Professor Christine Whitehead from the LSE will look at future trends; presenting the early findings of an East of England migration review to support our understanding of the relationships between migration, house prices and commuting.
