East of England Transformation Academy

10th May 2018

Would you and your colleagues like to…

  • Learn how to initiate and lead change across complex systems?
  • Be part of a new regional cross-sector network of change-makers?
  • Develop individual and organisational capabilities to transform outcomes?

The East of England LGA, LGA and Public Service Transformation Academy (PSTA) have launched the East of England Transformation Academy, designed for people with responsibilities for delivering transformational change

The Academy will immerse participants in the latest and proven practices on leading change across complex systems to enable you to bring to bear the ideas, assets and energy of all parties to realise better outcomes for the people you serve.

Taking place in Cambridge over five days between June and November 2018, the academy will equip a network of change makers across the region with the tools, techniques, relationships and behaviours to approach the most challenging issues facing communities in a collaborative, creative and evidence-driven way. The content and structure of the Academy is designed to develop capabilities at both the individual and organisational levels, and to provoke innovation in how outcomes can be realised.

Participants will benefit from master classes, workshops, expert speakers, peer challenge, a virtual site visit, practical action planning and - upon completion - membership of an extensive alumni network of senior peers from across public services.

Who should apply? We’re seeking candidates who are:

  • committed to making a difference
  • keen to apply the latest thinking and approaches to realising outcomes
  • eager to apply the ideas, assets and energy of all parts of the system

What does the Transformation Academy cover? Academy participants will cover key tools and techniques including:

  • Systems transformation
  • Outcomes thinking
  • Collaborative working
  • Market development
  • Agile methods
  • Behavioural insights
  • Service design
