East of England Councils set to discuss strategic growth issues with Mayor of London

18th December 2018

East of England Councils are set to discuss strategic growth issues with Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, at Wider South East Summit.

Preparation is underway for the next annual Wider South East Summit, to be held on 11 January 2019 at City Hall London.

This is a unique opportunity to discuss the key strategic growth issues affecting East of England authorities with Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, Deputy Mayor Jules Pipe and council leaders from across the Wider South East. Agenda topics will include collaboration opportunities on infrastructure, economic development and housing, alongside time for Q&A and interactive debate.

The Summit will also be a chance to shape Wider South East joint working priorities for the year ahead. Invitations have been set to all East of England council leaders and elected mayors, and LEP chairs.
