Apprenticeship Survey – coming soon!

5th October 2017

We will be circulating the bi-annual regional apprenticeship survey to Heads of HR in the next few days and would encourage all Authorities to complete this by the end of October.

The survey will help to identify the level of engagement across the Region as authorities continue to work hard to identify short and long term skills gaps and actively explore the ways they can use apprenticeships to help deliver higher level training for existing employees, as well as maximising the number of new apprentices. The data will be analysed and a report will be produced to share with respondents.

We will also be reporting on progress being made with apprenticeships in Local Authorities to the East of England Chief Executives Forum at their next meeting, so we would like to encourage all authorities to participate, ensuring we gather a full regional picture on progress.

The survey will review the first 6 months since the apprenticeship levy has been in place (period of time April – Sept 2017), and then a further survey at the end of March 2018 will request information covering Oct 2017 – March 2018.
