To mark National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2020 the East of England LGA is shining a spotlight on examples of activities and events happening in Councils across the Region to celebrate apprenticeships in local government. Here are just a selection of events and promotional activities taking place across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Central Bedfordshire Council
Central Bedfordshire Council have arranged to hold interactive information stands, manned by their very own apprentices at their offices in Watling House (Dunstable) and Priory House (Chicksands).

The Communications team are arranging a promotion campaign in their staff newsletter, Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well as their intranet and internet sites which will be providing further details and links for people to make contact.

Hertfordshire County Council

They have been running several events internally to highlight the huge range of opportunities on offer and encourage employees to “Look Beyond” the traditional routes of recruitment and learning & development.

They are currently welcoming applications to join our next intake of Business Administration apprentices.
