People and Communities Panel - Prevention

The role of prevention, leisure and wellbeing with regards to addressing healthy and sustainable communities.

The Improving Outcomes for People and Communities (IOPC) Panel has a focus on matters pertaining to:

  • Health
  • Care
  • Well-being
  • Housing
  • Engagement with the voluntary and communities sector.

Its role is to provide oversight of EELGA’s work within these fields, and to set strategic direction and priorities for policy work.

This panel will focus on the role of prevention, leisure and wellbeing with regards to addressing healthy and sustainable communities.

The Panel meets quarterly, and is currently chaired by Cllr Jacqui Taylor of St. Albans District Council. An agenda will be forthcoming closer to the meeting.
