East of England Strategic Spatial Planning Officers' Liaison Group (EE SSPOLG)

The purpose of the East of England Strategic Spatial Planning Officers’ Liaison Group (SSPOLG) is to coordinate technical and policy work relevant to councils in the East of England on strategic economic, planning and infrastructure challenges, with a particular focus on engagement with London and the Wider South East.

The East of England SSPOLG is responsible for:

  • Shaping the East of England LGA’s Wider South East (WSE) work programme, including undertaking/commissioning technical work and identifying strategic issues pertinent to the East of England and relevant to Wider South East engagement; and
  • Supporting and advising the East of England Infrastructure and Growth Group’s priorities.
