Her Majesty The Queen
It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of all our member councils across the East of England, we would like to convey our sincere condolences to the whole Royal Family.
Her Majesty The Queen served the United Kingdom for 70 years after her accession to the throne in 1952.
Proclamation readings and flower tributes may take place at locations across our region. Please check your local authority’s website for more details. Everyone is welcome.
In addition, books of condolence will be open to the public across our member councils, including locally at West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds.
