The CEX Working Group was established in our region in 2022 to look at issues around recruitment and retention and how we can help councils to utilise untapped talent pools for those hard to fill roles. A fair amount of work has now taken place across the region and we had our conference event in November 2023 to look at and share best practice around recruitment and retention.
From this work, we intend to set up a series of Master Classes for HR professionals in the region on a variety of topics – the first of which is this one which focuses on Recruitment & Retention. We are working with our colleagues in the NE Regional Employers Organisation to bring you these sessions.
