A national recruitment campaign for local government has been co-produced with local authorities, LGA and Solace: Make a Difference, Work for Your Local Council. Following a successful pilot in the North East, the UK Government has funded the national roll-out of the campaign for all regions in Autumn 2024.
This engagement event, hosted by East of England LGA and the LGA, will provide councils in the East of England with an opportunity to:
- Learn about the campaign, its objectives, the impact of the pilot in the North East, and the plans for the national roll-out
- Discuss how the national campaign can best support and enhance recruitment activity in the East of England
- Consider elements of regional tailoring for the campaign, such as specific professions to be highlighted, or media channels to target
Audience: This event will be most relevant to Heads of HR, recruitment leads and communications leads in councils in the East of England. An invite will be shared with all councils in the East of England. If the event is over subscribed places may be limited per organisation.
