The East of England Local Government Association is excited to partner with Dominic Chessum, Chessum Communication to deliver this training session to Elected Members in the East of England.
Session Outline:
This session is designed to give participants practical knowledge of how to use social media effectively and to get participants thinking about the risks and opportunities inherent within its use.
The training session is designed in four parts with each part covering an essential aspect of knowledge needed to use social media effectively:
- Part 1 – Social media and you
- Part 2 – Finding your platform and audience
- Part 3 – Creating good content
- Part 4 – keeping safe and legal
There will be three group activities based on practical examples participants may encounter and are designed to allow delegates to immediately apply the knowledge they have just acquired in the previous section of the course.
The session will run for 2 hours and will be delivered virtually via Zoom.
The maximum number of delegates for this session is 12.
Audience: Elected Members from member councils of the East of England Local Government Association.
