The EMCC, along with all major coaching bodies, recognises that the purpose of supervision is to enhance the wellbeing and develop the practice of coaches of all levels of experience. Supervision provides confidential space and time for coaches to step back and reflect on their work, to make sense of what is happening for them and their clients in their complex work situations, and to gain greater clarity to inform ongoing coaching.

This participative workshop will help you explore different models of supervision so that you can decide what will suit the needs of your organisation, your coaches and your budget. You may decide to access the professional supervision on offer through EELGA and/or set up an internal peer supervision group.

Who should attend?
Anyone involved in coaching within their workplace, whether as an internal coach, a commissioner of coaching, or an L&D specialist.

Provided by Jane Cox, Master Coach & Supervisor
Jane is an experienced & professionally qualified executive coach, coaching & organisational supervisor and facilitator of change with over 35 years’ wide-ranging business experience, in both public and private sectors. Over the years she has developed her own integrative approach to coaching and supervision, drawing together her fundamental humanistic beliefs, a respectful curiosity about the power that resides within each individual to achieve personal change, and the importance of relationship in that process.
Jane believes that her role as a supervisor is to help her clients to gain greater awareness of themselves, their relationships, and the systems within which they operate. This is done through collaboration and co-enquiry which can allow the emergence of deeper understanding and in turn, acceptance of what is before we move on to explore alternatives and opportunities for personal change that can have an impact on relationships and the wider systemic environment.
