Áine Gallagher, Programme Manager of the NGDP scheme at the National LGA, is joining us to offer the opportunity for early careers leads at east of England councils to learn more about the National Graduate Development Programme, which is open to applications until 31 March 2023.
This is an informal ‘bring and share’ style session which will provide an opportunity to share experiences where your council is already supporting and engaged in the NGDP graduate scheme – you could share what’s worked well, any barriers, how these have been overcome, etc.
For those councils who haven’t yet taken part, this will be an opportunity to hear from councils in our region already involved and to ask any questions. We are also hoping that we can secure 1-2 current graduates to come along and talk first hand about their experience. Áine will also be on hand to tell us a bit more about the scheme and answer any questions you may have.
We would encourage as many of you to take part as possible. We are keen to engage both councils already involved in the scheme and councils who maybe have the NGDP scheme on their radar, or even haven’t given it any thought as yet, to come and find out more!
Audience
- This session is aimed at early careers leads and HR professionals from our member authorities within the east of England.
