So, the first year of apprenticeship levy is over and now it is time to blast through the remaining barriers and start gaining some altitude.

This year’s apprenticeship event is all about making a difference to people.  We are delighted to have Laura-Jane Rawlings, CEO of Youth Employment UK as a key note speaker to help us think about how we can make the experience of being an apprentice in Local Government the best that it can be – whatever age they are!

We will have workshops to help us work together on continuing issues such as workforce planning and procurement and we will have a great opportunity to meet various “Pilots and co-pilots” who are flying with particular personal or corporate projects.

Audience
This event is aimed at Local Authority Chief Executives, Senior Managers, Heads of HR, Apprenticeship Programme leads and Trade Union learning representatives.

Please note: If this event is oversubscribed priority will be given to Local Authority members.

If you have any queries please contact Jayne Cole, Event Co-ordinator, East of England LGA, email: jayne.cole@eelga.gov.uk tel: 01284 758304
