This workshop will cover the basics of sound public procurement, provide an opportunity to hear experiences from other local authorities and be a useful source of hints, tips and good practice.
There will be a chance to network with others facing the same challenges, discuss your own experiences and make connections for future collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

This session will be led by the East of England LGA’s Senior Manager, Eddie Gibson, an acknowledged and respected expert on public sector procurement who sits on the National Advisory Group for Local Government Procurement, contributed to the new National Procurement Strategy 2018 and is a lecturer for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

This workshop is aimed at Heads of HR, Apprenticeship Programme leads and procurement leads in Local Authorities in the East of England.
