EELGA committed to protecting environment

In the East of England, we are extremely fortunate to have an environment which is both beautiful and home to many people and wildlife.

We are dedicated to reducing our own climate change impact and helping our member councils do the same.

Please see our updated statement on climate change below:

The East of England LGA (EELGA) is committed to minimising its own and members’ environmental impact by:

  1. Facilitating the Regional Climate Change Forum and providing bespoke support to members through the Talent Bank and Employer Services.
  2. Establishing EELGA employee focus groups. The focus groups are exploring a range of actions to improve environmental sustainability for the organisation.

Following the conclusion of the focus groups, an action plan will be developed and published.
