East of England LGA’s Commercial Offer

We are already working closely with Associates on how we take our commercial approach to the next level, and scoping new and emerging opportunities.

We held two briefing sessions for East of England LGA’s Talent Bank Associates at the end of May to keep them updated and engaged in the next phase of East of England LGA’s work and to ensure we continue to have skilled capacity on hand to support councils as needed across the region.

These briefings went well, with 37 Associates attending. The sessions provided a very timely opportunity for Associates to discuss with us the emerging needs of councils in the next phase of recovery and business transformation. We are already working closely with Associates on how we take our commercial approach to the next level, and scoping new and emerging opportunities. We are also in touch with Market Place partners and we are in the process of recruiting to the vacant (commercial) senior manager role at EELGA, which will focus on Business Development, Communications and Marketing, with interviews being planned in June.
