Esmee Wilcox helps people tackle messy human and social problems. She applies participatory futures thinking to enable people to identify, understand and mobilise around critical issues. She is skilled in engaging with senior leaders, middle managers and operational teams. Esmee reaches across sectors and organisational divides and turns collective ambition into practice. Esmee has led complex change initiatives spanning public and social purpose organisations for the last 11 years. Prior to that she spent 9 years leading on policy and political engagement from within several government departments and delivery agencies including a stint at the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. Her consultancy experience includes applied research, strategic foresight, and human-centred change for clients in local government and the VCSE sectors. Esmee is: a 'Featured Social Innovator' at the Cambridge Judge Centre for Social Innovation; a Visiting Senior Fellow and member of Court at the University of Suffolk; the winner of the Municipal Journal award for Behaviour Change in 2016; one of 8 global Emerged Fellows (2019) with the Association of Professional Futurists; and a member of the Institute for Community Studies’ Community Advisory Board. |
