Description |
Anita Malster is a mental health strategist, trainer, and speaker whose mission it is to change the way we think about mental health with accessible, enlightening, and inclusive strategies and training packages. Anita believes that when a plant is struggling to grow you don’t blame the plant, you change the environment to help it thrive, and she believes people are no different. She takes an individual approach to strategy development, training sessions and talks because every person’s experiences, attitudes and understanding of mental health is unique, and each organisation has its own challenges. Desmond Tutu once said, ‘There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they're falling in.’ That’s why workplace mental health strategies require a much more holistic approach. Anita supports organisations to explore their work design, culture and environment to ensure they are creating mentally healthy workplaces where people can grow and flourish. Ultimately, this results in better productivity, a happier workforce, and greater staff retention. |
