After coordinating ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) for the refugee resettlement programme from 2017, Gill developed the ESOL and Skills courses for the Well-being and Work for Refugee Integration project and now leads its successor, EON - EELGA SMP. She also manages research on refugee health alongside Anglia Ruskin University.
