Alison joined EELGA in October 2021 having worked for the BCH Alliance (Beds, Cambs and Herts Police) for the last 3½ years as Assistant HR Director with a wide remit including all police and staff training, recruitment and retention, EDI, talent management and succession planning and pay and reward for three forces.

Prior to this Alison had worked in county, borough and district councils and LGSS (shared services).

Alison has a wealth of HR generalist experience in both the public and private sectors. Alison is the Head of Regional Employers and ready to assist councils with complex ER issues, joint secretarial visits, advice and information sharing and strategic HR issues from around our region.
