The Head of Human Resources post will be at the forefront of transformational change, making sure we have the workforce and environment we need to succeed. Motivated by challenge and complexity, this role requires a strategic thinker, who can provide excellent leadership for the Council’s professional HR community and harness a positive culture of high expectations.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of leading or delivering people management services at a strategic level to support our organisational priorities. In addition, experience in advising, engaging and influencing Committee/Cabinet/Board level on a full range of people and organisational development services is essential. You will understand the complexities and realities of leading and developing people in a demanding environment and have the energy, drive and vision to deliver an HR strategy that attracts and develops the very best.
