Delivering Health and Wellbeing: how can Public Health England work with you?
Erpho (the Public Health Observatory in the East of England) alongside the East of England Public Health Group would like to invite you to the event Delivering Health and Wellbeing: how can Public Health England work with you?
The event will take place on the 5th October 2012 at the Radisson Blu hotel, Stansted and it is free to attend.
The objective for this event is to begin the process of developing collaborative professional relationships between Public Health England and local teams. Public Health England will exist to serve those elected to lead the improvement of health and wellbeing; therefore it is your voice they wish to hear in this period of development and transition.
They aim to facilitate this by presenting an overview of the Public Health England Network Team arrangements in the East, showcasing some of the relevant existing outputs (both local and national), and seeking feedback from Health and Wellbeing Boards and other stakeholders as to how we work together to improve population health.
The format of the day will comprise a plenary session featuring a key note presentation from the Acting Chief Knowledge Officer for Public Health England, Professor John Newton. This will be followed by a series of parallel breakout sessions aimed at developing the process of engagement between Public Health England and Local Government.
In addition, they will have an Education Zone where you will be able to see and interact with some of the tools and resources close up, as well as having an opportunity to engage in the future development of products and services.
