Transformation Challenge Award Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) workshop

Date: Friday 13 June 2014
Time: 14:00 - 17:00
Location: Kaetsu Centre, Cambridge

DCLG, in partnership with New Economy, is running this Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) workshop as part of a wider support package for authorities interested in putting bids forward to the Transformation Challenge Award (TCA).

Designed to support authorities with the CBA element of TCA bids and CBA awareness in general. It will be focused on authorities who are interested in putting forward bids for Element B of the TCA that is funding for ambitious partnership plans. The workshop will equip authorities with a solid understanding of the Cost Benefit methodology and process, and will also offer attendees a suite of guidance information and the opportunity to discuss their plans with New Economy and DCLG in a focused Q and A session. New Economy will also be providing more focused support to authorities following the Expression of Interest stage in July, so it would be beneficial for authorities to get an understanding of the CBA methodology and process early on.

New Economy, the team running the workshop, have also recently published a guide to their CBA method with the Treasury and the Public Service Transformation Network (PSTN).  The document can be downloaded at http://neweconomymanchester.com/stories/1966.
