Changes to Local Housing Allowance

The June 2010 Budget set out a range of proposed changes to housing benefit and the way that Local Housing Allowance will be calculated.

The East of England Local Government Association, through its Housing Project, has analysed the specific changes to Local Housing Allowance that are due to be introduced in 2011, in order to assess likely impacts on individual households living in the private rented sector, as well as on Local Authorities in the East of England.  The documents below set out the findings:
