Schedule of Events

EU Connects provides a range of awareness raising events and seminars, primarily for individual local authorities, voluntary sector bodies and Local Enterprise Partnerships, to improve institutional capacity, access to and take up of EU funds in the East of England.

These include:

Themed awareness raising events and seminars to cover:

• An overview of all the EU funding programmes;
• The strategic and policy context for the chosen theme of each seminar;
• Programme details for the chosen theme of each seminar;
• Deadlines for calls and any additional intelligence on programmes;
• Presentations from programme representatives;
• Case studies from practitioners; and
• Facilitated workshop sessions.

Capacity Building Project Development Workshops-European project related skills:

• Key principles of European working;
• Project development process;
• Developing a budget;
• Project management;
• Reporting and monitoring;
• Audit processes; and
• Bid writing seminars (to be timed close to significant call deadlines).
