The Association plays a key role in a wide range of issues that are of concern to councils and their communities in the East of England.
Through the Association's Assembly, Council Leaders resolved to
establish around a
small number of key priority areas.
The Solutions Service is our accelerated change programme for the public sector. It's been designed to foster innovation and identify new models of service delivery.
Improving asset management is a key way in which authorities can achieve efficiencies, greater productivity and enhanced service delivery. We are committed to working with authorities to help them implement innovative asset management projects which unlock resources and utilise property assets more effectively. Our programme does not support business as usual projects. Instead we support ambitious projects involving collaboration as this is where the big wins are.
Building upon the success of our route optimisation programme, we are
supporting authorities in delivering their waste efficiency and service
re-design programmes.
A new and dedicated resource for local authorities, the voluntary
sector and Local Enterprise Partnerships, to improve access to and take
up of EU funds in the East of England.

Providing a range of support packages to member councils through our Talent Bank.
We also deliver a range of discreet projects, making use of additional funding opportunities. including:
A UK Border Agency funded project to support and develop regional migrant worker networks, support agencies
and projects, as well as work with asylum seekers and
refugees.
A project, funded by Communities and Local Government, designed to boost local authority expertise on the delivery of
sustainable infrastructure, energy and low carbon economic development
for their area.
